Building Up Success: Xchange Business Park's Building 11 Takes Shape!
The Xchange Business Park is buzzing with activity, and we're thrilled to give you a look at the incredible progress being made on Building 11. This state-of-the-art facility is rapidly transforming from concept to concrete, marking another significant milestone in the development.
The Tilt-Up Process
We’ve recently reached an exciting phase: the concrete tilt-up. This process involves casting massive concrete walls horizontally on the building’s floor slab and then "tilting" them into their final vertical position. It’s a marvel of modern engineering that offers incredible structural integrity and speed. This process requires robust safety procedures and diligence from the whole team to ensure worker safety and an efficient completion. A huge thank you to our partners at Wales McLelland Construction for their expertise and hard work in bringing this vision to life.
With demand for Class A industrial space in Abbotsford continuing to climb, we are proud to announce that Building 11 is already 50% pre-leased, well ahead of its January 2027 occupancy. The remaining 35,000 SF of premium warehouse and office space is now available for pre-leasing, offering high-performance features alongside 26,600 SF of dedicated yard area.
As the walls go up, the focus shifts to the structural steel and roofing. We are on track to deliver a facility that serves as a modern, connected hub for Abbotsford and Fraser Valley.
